Riverside Live celebrates local artists and bands in one of Christchurch's most loved venues.
Set in the Riverside Cantina, our live music nights are intimate and atmospheric with access to the Riverside Cantina's extensive drink selection. You can also pre-order a platter of artisan cheese, salami and condiments from Charing Cross Cheesery.
Accessibility:
We have an elevator up to the first floor, however our Live Music Nights are located on the top mezzanine, which can only be accessed by stairs. Please consider this when purchasing your tickets, we apologise for any inconvenience.

About the band
Swing 42 are one of Aotearoa's most enduring Gypsy swing bands, comprising of some of New Zealand's most dedicated and respected jazz musicians.
They present exciting and dynamic performances in Ōtautahi Christchurch and elsewhere and have been featured in jazz festivals, open air concerts, dance events.
Swing 42 stretch out on music by Django Reinhardt as well as choice jazz and latin standards.
