Riverside Live celebrates local artists and bands in one of Christchurch's most loved venues.
Set in the Riverside Cantina, our live music nights are intimate and atmospheric with access to the Riverside Cantina's extensive drink selection. You can also pre-order a platter of artisan cheese, salami and condiments from Charing Cross Cheesery.
Accessibility:
We have an elevator up to the first floor, however our Jazz Nights are located on the top mezzanine, which can only be accessed by stairs. Please consider this when purchasing your tickets, we apologise for any inconvenience.

About the band
Manu will be playing a compilation of original music and covers. Love, longing, joy, sorrow, freedom and ambition are among the themes within his music. From up beat, créole type songs to funky, jazzy to deep, flowing and beautiful compositions: amplified and with subtle effects. There will also be covers from the greats, including Bob Marley and Michael Jackson.
You may have already experienced Manu’s musical talent as the drummer for Jazzy Banditos, now come and experience a unique and touching musical showcase. For those who enjoy acoustic music, this will be sure to be something that leaves an impression.
