Riverside Live celebrates local artists and bands in one of Christchurch's most loved venues.

Join us for a Jazz Night every month, in collaboration with local jazz legends; The Avon City Jazz Club.

Set in the Riverside Cantina, our jazz nights are intimate and atmospheric with access to the Riverside Cantina's extensive drink selection. You can also pre-order a platter of artisan cheese, salami and condiments from Charing Cross Cheesery.

Accessibility:

We have an elevator up to the first floor, however our Jazz Nights are located on the top mezzanine, which can only be accessed by stairs. Please consider this when purchasing your tickets, we apologise for any inconvenience.

About the band

Courtenay Washington is joined by Dan Robertson on piano and Dougal Canard on bass for an evening of jazz after returning home to Christchurch from the US. A quote from Facebook describes Courtenay as “A great performer with a super vocal style and range. Bags of soulful sultry sass.”
