The Butcher's Pie Shop located in the Laneways at Riverside Market, is a dream come true for Jason and Jarnia Kupe. From baking up a pie storm at The Hororata Cafe, the pair have now moved their pie baking operations to a bigger kitchen at the Willows Cafe in Glentunnel.

The Glentunnel bakehouse , located at the Golf Course, delivers fresh, handmade pies to the city every day. Jason, a butcher by trade, cuts and trims the meat, braising it for 6-8 hours to create a tasty and tender pie filling with no additives or pie thickeners. The slow cooked pork belly and apple sauce is topped with crunchy crackling - a real Kiwi treat. Make a meal with  mash, mushy peas and gravy! The Butcher's Beef Roll was placed in the top five in New Zealand and is simply the best sausage roll you can try. It’s only a pie - until you try a Butcher’s Pie!
